POEM
A moment of honor
In the hall where echoes rise,
I stood with hope in my eyes.
Names were called, one by one,
Until they said mine, and I had won.
I stood proudly with a gold medal on my neck, a paper in hand,
A moment so grand, so wonderfully planned.
Friends and Family cheered loud, my heart felt proud,
My smile shone bright, like the sun through a cloud
This memory dear, I’ll keep it near,
A day of joy, without any fear.
For in that moment, my spirit did soar,
An honor at school, who could ask for more?
